It Starts With Us

There are many reasons why someone might turn to an eating disorder but one mammoth reason is the influence of our society. In our latest podcast, Julie and eating disorder therapist Suzanne Sanchez talk about changing the rhetoric to health at every size instead of judging how others look. It starts with us if we want to change the way we think and talk about our bodies.

Suzanne Sanchez, LPC works with individuals and their supports to improve relationships with food, body, & self so they can focus their energy on their true passions and experience fulfillment in authenticity. In private practice, she provides individual therapy, groups, workshops, consultation, and classes for people to increase their understanding of eating disorders, feel confident in themselves, and feel motivated to take on problems of negative body image.

She currently serves on the board of the Columbia River Eating Disorder Network (CREDN) and the board for the Oregon Association of Multicultural Counseling and Development. She is also Adjunct Faculty at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. To download her free guide “5 Social Media Posts that are Destroying Your Body Image (and how to fight back)” visit this link: https://www.suzannesanchezcounseling.com/5-social-media-posts-that-are-destroying-your-body-image/
